NOTICE

DATE:            February 18, 2024

PLEASE BE NOTIFIED that Trey Adkins, Knox District Supervisor and Lee Dotson, North Grundy District Supervisor, of the Board of Supervisors have called an emergency meeting for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19^th, 2025 in the boardroom on the third floor of the Buchanan County Government Center at 4447 Slate Creek Road in Grundy, Virginia.  Notice of this meeting time is being given pursuant to any rules for a special or emergency meetings.  The following matters shall be discussed at such meeting:

1. Call to order.

2.      Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Flood damages resulting from flooding during the weekend of February 14 through 16, 2025.

4. Recovery efforts and repair of flood damages throughout the County.

5. Closed session Va. Code section 2.2-3711(a)(1) personnel issues in regard to emergency meeting agenda items of #3 and #4; and (a)(8) legal matters in regard to emergency meeting agenda items #3 and #4.

The board can only discuss the above items listed during this emergency called meeting and continuation thereof unless all seven (7) board members are present. If you have any questions, please let me know.  Thank you.
